Annual Report


Annual reports of the school’s functioning are read at the Annual Day and subsequently printed in the school magazine. The report gives a bird’s-eye view of the institution during the academic year. The report is presented as a presentation with suitable visuals to supplement the information. 2020 was yet another fruitful year for Infant Jesus Academy despite the ongoing pandemic. Some of the important events that took place are given below:


  • 1. In the Month of January there was a teacher’s training program in our campus. We were fortunate to get Dr Mrinmoy Gandhi Das and Shree Madhugar Jha, two well experienced CBSE appointed resource persons, who spent a day with teachers with innovative ideas, which emphasized the importance of value education. Around 50 teachers were present for the in-house training.
  • 2. The school conducted a Quiz competition in the campus to encourage students to be aware of the current affairs. Many students actively participated in it and sharpened their mind with a lot of knowledge about the present world.
  • 3. Mr. Rooby Thadathil, principal and two other teachers attended a training program on NEP at DAV School, Patna.
  • 4. The School remained shut for most part of the Year because of the pandemic, however classes were conducted online through Youtube and online meeting apps such as google meet and zoom
  • 5. Around 25 teachers from the school took part in many online sessions conducted by CBSE during the month of May. Some of the sessions that teachers took part in are Stress-Management – An overview, Stress Management at Work, Enhancing Life Skills – Self Awareness, Happy Teachers create Happy Classes.
  • 6. Students and teachers attended a 1 day workshop on COVID Awareness Program conducted by Dr. Joseph T.T - Principal of St Joseph Academy, BiharSharif during the month of February. 2021. 7. Around 7 teachers from the school attended online trainings on NEP.
  • 7. Around 7 teachers from the school attended online trainings on NEP.
  • 8. Online and offline exams were conducted to measure the learning outcomes of the students during the pandemic.
  • 9. Students from class IX attended training in Python conducted by Mr. Jackson Sunny (M.tech, Computer Science)
  • 10. Students from class IX attended a 3 day workshop on building drones conducted by Mr. Akhil T (B.tech, Mechanical Engineering)
